MGM Star Construct Participates in eBio-hub Open Day – Advancing Biomedical Innovation

MGM Star Construct S.R.L. participated in the eBio-hub Open Day, held on 16 December 2025 at the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry in the field of biomedical engineering and medical product development.

The session opened with a welcoming address by Dr. Ciprian Iliescu, Director of the Center of Excellence in Bioengineering – eBio-hub, who greeted the attendees and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in supporting applied research and fostering effective academic–industrial partnerships. This was followed by his presentation outlining the center’s advanced research infrastructure, experimental capabilities, and strategic directions in biomedical engineering.

Following this, Arcadie Sobetkii, Physicist and Scientific Director of MGM Star Construct S.R.L., delivered his presentation as the scientific lead and official representative of the company. His talk focused on MGM Star Construct’s scientific and technological vision, with particular emphasis on the development of biomedical products and medical devices, and on the company’s role in translating academic research outcomes into practical, scalable, and industry-ready medical solutions.

After the presentations, an open discussion took place, involving attendees, Dr. Ciprian Iliescu, and Arcadie Sobetkii. The discussions addressed opportunities for future collaboration, joint research projects, and the importance of knowledge transfer between academia and industry to accelerate innovation in the biomedical field.

At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Ciprian Iliescu and Arcadie Sobetkii thanked all participants for their active engagement. Arcadie Sobetkii also introduced the MGM Star Construct team members who attended the meeting, highlighting the value of teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration in supporting research and development initiatives.
