

As part of the ARTVOC – Horizon MSCA project, MGM STAR CONSTRUCT SRL had the pleasure of visiting HPS Romania, the Romanian branch of the German company specialized in high-performance space structures, antenna components, and thermal insulation and control systems for satellites.
The visit was attended by Arcadie Sobetkii, Physicist and Scientific Director of MGM STAR CONSTRUCT SRL, Dr.Eng. Mohammed Alqasim Alsabti, and Dr.Eng. Alaa Abou Harab, together with an academic delegation from the University of Pamplona, Colombia, reinforcing the strong link between industry, applied research, and international academia.
During the visit, the delegation explored HPS’s contributions to several flagship space missions of European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA, including missions related to planetary defense, deep-space exploration, Venus exploration, and the Lunar Gateway.

This visit highlighted the importance of industry–academia collaboration in advancing space technologies, satellite systems, and applied research, while supporting the objectives of ARTVOC and Horizon MSCA.
MGM STAR CONSTRUCT continues to act as a bridge between academic research, industrial innovation, and European space initiatives, fostering collaborations that serve both scientific progress and technological deployment.
