

MGM STAR CONSTRUCT SRL participated in an information session jointly organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) on April 30, 2025, hosted at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest.
The company delegation included Dr.Eng. Mohammed Alqasim Alsabti and PhD candidate Chiheb Walleni from Universitat Rovira i Virgili, reflecting MGM STAR CONSTRUCT’s engagement in advanced research and international collaboration within the European space sector.
The session was dedicated to presenting the ESA Connectivity and Secure Communications Programme, with a focus on current and future opportunities for Romanian organizations, particularly in preparation for the upcoming ESA Ministerial Council (CM25) scheduled for November 2025.

Romanian companies were given the opportunity to present their expertise and contributions in the field of secure communications and space technologies, fostering dialogue between ESA and national industry stakeholders.
The event concluded with the signing of the agreement to launch the ARTES Hub in Timișoara, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening Romania’s national innovation ecosystem in secure satellite communications and space connectivity technologies.
Through this participation, MGM STAR CONSTRUCT reaffirmed its commitment to space security, advanced communication technologies, and European cooperation, aligning with ESA’s long-term vision for secure and sustainable space infrastructure.
