Collaborative visit with the military educational environment

The company MGM STAR CONSTRUCT S.R.L. hosted at its headquarters in Bucharest the visit of the delegation from the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” National Military College in Constanța, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Acmola Leila, with the objective of initiating a scientific and technical collaboration dedicated to innovation among military students.

Visit overview

During the visit, the company’s scientific director, Mr. Arcadie Sobetkii, organized a technical tour of the company’s laboratories and production facilities.

He presented:

• The research infrastructure
• The technologies used
• The potential directions for future collaboration

The event takes place in the context of preparing the student team for participation in the 2026 edition of the national innovation and techno-scientific creation competition dedicated to military high schools:

“CNMiL – Bootcamp de cunoaștere tehnico-științifică”

Two preliminary technical collaboration directions were agreed upon:

1. Windows with transparent conductive coatings (TCO)
   For heating and de-icing systems intended for military optics.
2. Precision reticles with night illumination
   For optical sighting systems.

This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the educational environment and encouraging techno-scientific creativity in the industrial and defense sectors.
